Posted by: ebcyouthwork on: November 20, 2010

Last Fridays club was overtaken with street boppin, body slammin dance moves, courtesy of TR14ers from Camborne.
We did a full body workout warm up, followed by workshops in Breakin (Break dancing to you and me) along with Choreographed dance routine.
I think its safe to say everyone had a great time & i would recommend the TR14ers for anyone looking for a street dance act in Cornwall.

Onelife conference Falmouth – review

Posted by: ebcyouthwork on: June 15, 2010

This short post is just to give those of you who did not attend a idea of what happened..

The Church was transformed with amazing visuals and a great sound system – well that’s what i noticed first but more importantly, a dedicated team to encourage and teach young people of Cornwall and the UK in growing as leaders.

Due to family commitments my own attendance at the conference was limited, but what i did see hear and experience was very good – please pray that what was taught would change our young people and that our future leaders would be in the making as they commit to Gods direction & calling.

Thanks very much for all those whom helped this to happen, I am sure young people are very appreciative & lets keep on building each other up in our Christian walk.

Yes that’s right, young people can be leaders! You lot are actually our future leaders and so this conference is just for you – its taking place here at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Falmouth on 3rd – 5th June 2010.. Thats pretty soon so dont waste any time, hop onto http://www.onelifeonline.org.uk/events/ylc2010/ for all the info!

Summer 2010… How’s it gonna turn out?

Posted by: ebcyouthwork on: May 14, 2010

Ok so our last few summers have been a bit of a joke here in Cornwall, 2007… It rained 2008… Rained again… 2009.. Not brilliant.. So how will it turn out this year?
Vote now!

This blog has been setup due to the main website lacking in a Youth section. Yes it is possible, but the webmaster suggested this until the site can implement a youth section.. Phew

So what will be on this blog? Hopefully a lot of helpful and interesting information for all our young people that attend our various clubs like Oasis cafe/Enzo’s & those that are not involved but would like more information!
We welcome you as a visitor in Jesus name and hope you enjoy the blog and participate by adding comments etc.. Roll on the summer!
